1993 Mazda MX-6
Name: Johanne Vahala, Spokane
Purchased: February 2005 from our daughter's former boyfriend. I kept my eye on it for years and told him he better not sell it until asking me first. Since the original purchase for $625, I've had the engine rebuilt, and fully restored the body and paint. It's like a brand new car! I get lots of compliments.
Why I love it: The sporty two-door cousin of our 1993 Mazda 626, the styling is classic, still looking quite modern compared to today's new cars. I enjoy the comfortable ride, five-speed, sunroof and CD player. It gets great gas mileage and is a pleasure to drive year-round.
Our next car will be: Chrysler 300 Touring edition. It will be cream white with chrome wheels, tan leather and a moon roof.
